Lovely birthday cake...

In a small, cozy bakery at the corner of Maple Street, the scent of sugar and vanilla filled the air. Today was special—Mrs. Flores was baking the most important cake of the year.

She measured the flour carefully, whisked the eggs with a gentle rhythm, and hummed a tune that only came out when she was making something magical. Layer by layer, the cake began to rise, golden and soft, like sunshine captured in sponge.

She spread a cloud of creamy frosting, smoothed it with care, and then sprinkled tiny sugar stars across the top, each one sparkling like a wish waiting to be made. Finally, she placed a single candle in the center.

That evening, when little Ana walked into the room, her eyes lit up brighter than the candle itself. Everyone began to sing, and when Ana closed her eyes, she made a wish so secret, so tender, that even the cake seemed to lean in to listen.

And as the flame flickered out, the room glowed with laughter, love, and the sweetness of a birthday that would be remembered forever.
